![]() Why are we doing this?Ītom has not had significant feature development for the past several years, though we’ve conducted maintenance and security updates during this period to ensure we’re being good stewards of the project and product. On June 8, 2022, we announced that we will sunset Atom and archive all projects under the organization on December 15, 2022. ![]() While that goal of growing the software creator community remains, we’ve decided to retire Atom in order to further our commitment to bringing fast and reliable software development to the cloud via Microsoft Visual Studio Code and GitHub Codespaces. When we introduced Atom in 2011, we set out to give developers a text editor that was deeply customizable but also easy to use-one that made it possible for more people to build software. NovemUpdate: We’ve since updated our blog post to include additional information about what you can expect after the sunset of Atom on December 15, 2022. Read more on our blog, including next steps for impacted Desktop users. To keep using Atom, users will need to download a previous Atom version. These versions of Atom will stop working on February 2. Revoking these certificates will invalidate some versions of Atom. As a preventative measure, we will revoke the exposed certificates used for the Atom application. After a thorough investigation, we have concluded there was no risk to services as a result of this unauthorized access.Ī set of encrypted code signing certificates were exfiltrated however, the certificates were password-protected and we have no evidence of malicious use. On December 7, 2022, GitHub detected unauthorized access to a set of repositories used in the planning and development of Atom. ![]() if not view.JanuUpdate: Update to the previous version of Atom before February 2.selector_scope = css_selector_scope + ', ' + html_style_attr_selector_scope.html_style_attr_selector_scope = "text.html " + \.just before the quote that closes the attribute value # match inside the style attribute of HTML tags, incl.def on_query_completions(self, view, prefix, locations):.class CSSCompletions(sublime_plugin.EventListener):.Therefore ST doesn’t suggests anything within SASS/SCSS right now. The SASS/SCSS package doesn’t provide completions on its own.ĬSS properties and value completions are provided by the CSS package shipped with Sublime Text. If you experience issues with this package you could file an issue at with a detailed description and a peace of code as example. Nested selectors seem to work for me, too. Highlighting sass/scss seems to basically work for me here. Maybe you have some interfering packages enabled? I found Theme - Mersi on my box to define an empty SASS syntax, which results in highlighting not to work. There are lots of examples in the default packages that can help if you want to get involved, and there is documentation about the syntax definitions and test suites also: The Discord channel is where most of the more active community members hang out, along with Jon and myself. We are definitely willing to help guide users along who are interested in developing a syntax to distribute via Package Control. Because of that, and our desire to keep making Sublime Text itself better, we have to balance where our time gets spent. We have a bunch of awesome community members that contribute a ton to fixing bugs and improving things, but ultimately it is the Sublime HQ team who ends up being responsible for the maintenance. In general we aren’t going to be adding many more syntaxes to the defaults because every package we add takes up more core editor development time. This thread is the first request I’ve even heard for adding SCSS by default. The only additions that I know we will make to the default packages is JSX and Swift. ![]() And do you know if SASS/SCSS support will become built-in any time soon? ![]()
